Kylie Miller is a communications expert with years of experience

Kylie is a communications specialist with more than 20 years of experience as a journalist, writer, columnist, sub-editor and editor for newspapers such as The Age, The Herald Sun, The Newcastle Herald and The Bangkok Post.

She won the prestigious NSW Young Journalist of the Year award in 1994, completed a month-long placement at The Straits Times in Singapore, profiled Midnight Oil singer-turned-politician Peter Garrett for a book on leading Australians, and worked as a consultant on award-winning feature film Look Both Ways.

Kylie’s first children’s picture book, Heroes of Black Summer, was published by Australian Geographic in 2021. Kylie has since written three picture books focused on greyhounds, which have sold to greyhound lovers around the world. Kylie’s latest book, Dotty and the Lonely Farm, is out in 2024. She is now writing an adult novel.
